As someone who listens to music while I'm on the way to work or meeting friends and family, a portable wireless earphone is a MUST. Bonus points if it can last long hours while I'm traveling! I have been testing out the Sudio Nio the past few weeks and I have figured out the pros and cons of this pair of super aesthetic minimalist wireless earphone.

Say hello to Sudio Nio!

Sudio Nio claims to deliver a balanced and spacious sound while maintaining dynamic bass. Its detachable wingtips (4 sizes) create a custom fit for any ear. Convenience is key with a touch panel control and automatic pairing. Nio offers up to 5.5 hours of playtime that can be extended for up to 20 hours with the charging case. IPX4 ingress protection also makes it rain and sweat friendly. It uses a Type-C charger and takes 90 minutes for a full charge.

Nio comes in 4 colours: White, Sand, Green and Black (I am reviewing the Sand Coloured one). Exclusive to Nio, Sudio is expanding horizons with the launch of their newest neutral hue colour: Sand. Sand is solid, versatile, and light. You can create with it, or relax on it, perfectly representing Sudio Nio's sound performance with flexibility and inclusive.

What the Nio is:

- A good travel companion (lightweight with a long-lasting battery life)

- A desk/study table buddy

- Can handle most types of music but it is not that balanced or bass-y

- I personally feel that I could gym comfortably with it because of the winged tips

- Potentially safe for running as it is not noise-cancelling

What the Sudio Nio is not:

- A power-packed pair of portable earphones

Verdict: Would I buy it?

Personally, I don't believe that I would proactively source it out as a must-have in my collection but it would definitely make a good gift for your pals who are always on the go!

Who would I recommend it for?

Everyone! I think that it is versatile enough for everyone to enjoy. I also feel that it is perfect as a gift for a friend. It is definitely a decent portable wireless earphone for travel or casual use.
